Our latest product, Lucias, is a high intensity, focussed light source

 

Lucias is a high intensity focused light source with a standard E27 lamp base. This combination realises a versatile light source which takes advantage of the huge range of standard E27 light fittings.

 

The system uses our combined power and data technology which allows full independent control of up to 100 LED units all on the same electrical circuit.

 

Lucias LED units incorporate special microprocessor controlled circuitry to decode our advanced combined power and data system and control a high intensity focused single colour white, RGB or RGBW LED

 

Up to 100 Lucias LEDs can be connected on a single two conductor cable.

 

Each LED unit is independently controllable despite being on the same cable. LED units connect to the RM500 power unit which accepts DMX data. The RM500 can also record /playback DMX shows.

Power unit

RM200 and RM500 power units provide the DC supply and combined power and data to control lamps or LED units

 

The power units accept DMX data converting this to the special combined power and data format 

 

Power units have DMX record capability for standalone operation

 

They can also be programmed usingour show creation software

Handheld programmer

A commissioning and maintenance tool, the hand programmer facilitates quick programming of an LED / Lamp holder units address

 

For DFS1000 and 3000 the LED unit is briefly attached to the hand programmer to set the address

 

For DFS200 the lamp holder is temporarily inserted into the lamp socket in  place of the lamp

 

For Orbis, Praeclarus and DFS4000 a different version programs the LED unit address using a short range infra red link

 

The hand programmer can also read an LED units address and invoke an LED test

 

Programming typically takes 4 seconds
